Poolesville's Rule on Failing Roofs and Siding

Poolesville's Town code lets the Town declare a building a public nuisance when its roof is not weather-tight or its siding or gutters are seriously damaged or missing. The owner first gets written notice. Once a notice to repair is issued, the owner has 30 days to make repairs and ten days to appeal to the Board of Appeals. If a roof is failing, deal with it before a notice arrives.
